অধ্যাপক আবু আহমেদ ১২ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৪ তারিখে আইসিবি অ্যাসেট ম্যানেজমেন্ট কোম্পানি লিঃ এর পরিচালনা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে যোগদান করেছেন। এছাড়াও তিনি ইনভেস্টমেন্ট কর্পোরেশন অব বাংলাদেশ (আইসিবি) এর পরিচালনা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে নিযুক্ত আছেন। তিনি দেশের একজন শীর্ষস্থানীয় অর্থনীতিবিদ এবং পুঁজিবাজার বিশেষজ্ঞ। বাংলাদেশের পুঁজিবাজারের উন্নয়নে একক ব্যক্তি হিসেবে তার অবদান উল্লেখযোগ্য। শিক্ষাজীবনে তিনি ঢাকা, ইসলামাবাদ এবং ইয়র্ক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অধ্যায়ন শেষে ১৯৭৬ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অর্থনীতি বিভাগে লেকচারার হিসেবে যোগদান করেন এবং ১৯৯৩ সালে প্রফেসর হিসেবে নিয়োগ প্রাপ্ত হন। পেশাগত জীবনে তিনি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অর্থনীতি বিভাগের চেয়ারম্যান ও সামাজিক বিজ্ঞান অনুষদের ডিন; সদস্য, বোর্ড অব অ্যাডভান্স স্টাডিজ; পরিচালক, সেন্টার ফর অ্যাডভান্স রিসার্চ ইন হিউম্যানিটিজ, ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়; উপদেষ্টা, পোর্টফোলিও ইনভেস্টমেন্ট, দ্যা ডেল্টা লাইফ ইন্স্যুরেন্স কোম্পানি লিমিটেড এবং সরকারের রেভিনিউ রিফর্ম কমিশনের সদস্য হিসেবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। তিনি সরকারি মালিকানাধীন বাংলাদেশ শিল্প ব্যাংক (বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশ ডেভেলপমেন্ট ব্যাংক পিএলসি) এর পরিচালনা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবেও অধিষ্ঠিত ছিলেন। এছাড়া তিনি চট্টগ্রাম স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জের পরিচালক, বাখরাবাদ গ্যাস কোম্পানি লিমিটেড (পেট্রোবাংলা কোম্পানি সাবসিডিয়ারি) এর পরিচালক, জগন্নাথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সিন্ডিকেট এর সদস্য, রাজশাহী, সিলেট শাহজালাল, চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক পদের নির্বাচন কমিটি এর সদস্য এবং বাংলাদেশ সিকিউরিটিজ অ্যান্ড এক্সচেঞ্জ কমিশনের উপদেষ্টা কমিটি এর সদস্য হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। অধ্যাপক আবু আহমেদ এর অর্থনীতি ও পুঁজিবাজার বিষয়ক লেখনি নীতিনির্ধারনী পর্যায়ে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণে ব্যাপকভাবে প্রভাবিত করে। | |
Professor Dr. Mohammed Helal Uddin,Director | |
Professor Dr. Mohammed Helal Uddin is currently serving as the Executive Vice Chairman of the Microcredit Regulatory Authority. He is a respected Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Dhaka and has made significant contributions in various areas related to the country's economy and development. He has served as the Director of Research at the Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP). Additionally, he is an esteemed member of the Capital Market Reform Task Force. He has also played a vital role as a member of the Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA); the Technical Committee of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics under the Ministry of Planning; the Expert Group on the BCIM (Bangladesh, China, India, and Myanmar) Economic Corridor; and the Faculty Recruitment Committees of BRAC University and South East University. In his academic journey, he earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Later, he obtained an MA in Economics from the University of Florida, USA, and an MS and PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland, USA. He has conducted numerous research activities in collaboration with FAO, USAID, WFP, ILO, World Bank, IGC, AusAID, JICA, and IFC. His contributions to research, policy formulation, and teaching have had a positive impact on the country’s economic policies. |  |
| Dr. Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Director | |
| Mohammad Moniruzzaman is a Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, University of Dhaka. He has earned his PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex, UK. The title of his thesis is “Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in the Banking Sector: Evidence from Bangladesh”. Before that, he completed the BBA and MBA degrees from the same department. Mr Moniruzzaman is a chartered accountant and a cost and management accountant. Besides, he is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the UK, which is an international recognition of a commitment to professionalism in teaching and learning in higher education. Mr Moniruzzaman has presented several research papers at various UK conferences and is experienced in teaching both home and abroad. He is also a trainer at the DSE Training Academy, Bangladesh Petroleum Institute, Teachers Training Program under the National University. Moreover, being a professional accountant, Mr Moniruzzaman has practical experience for more than 12 years in audit, advisory, tax, secretarial affairs, management consultancy, IPO consultancy, project consultancy, ERP consultancy, business takeover, outsourcing and many more. His research interest focuses on enterprise risk management, financial regulation, organizational change, management control and corporate governance. He has published articles in both national and international journals. |  |
| Dr. Asif Iqbal, Director | |
Dr. Asif Iqbal serves as a Deputy Secretary in the macroeconomic wing of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, The People’s Republic of Bangladesh. He also serves as a Deputy General Manager-Finance & Disbursement (Additional Charge) of National Human Resource Development Fund (NHRDF). He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Dhaka, followed by a Master's in Economics from the Queen Mary University of London. Asif furthered his academic pursuits with a PhD in Macroeconomic Modeling from the University of Liverpool, UK, specializing in monetary policy. Throughout his career in public administration, he has held various significant roles, including Assistant Commissioner, AC Land and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO). His research endeavors are distinctly centered around the realms of Monetary Economics and Macroeconomic Modelling. |  |

| Md. Habib Ullah was appointed as a Director of ICB Asset Management Company Limited on 6th November, 2023. He has been working as General Manager on Investment Corporation of Bangladeshsince 26 June, 2023. Since 1999 he has beenserving in ICB for last 24 years in various technical positions. He obtained B.Sc. Engineering(Agricultural) and Masters Degree in Farm Power Machinery from Bangladesh Agricultural University of Mymensingh. He also completed Diploma on different programming languages(visual Foxpro, Delpli, C). During his career at ICB, he worked on digitilization of ICB services. he worked on Oracle Database System about 8 years. He also passed CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) exam in 2023. During his career at ICB he participated in various training, seminars and symposiums on Capital Market and ICT related fields. He also attended an international training in ICT security titled “Cyber Security-Implementation and Compliance” in India held in 2018. He is entrusted with the responsibilities of the nominated directors of Aramit Cement PLC, Eicra Soft Ltd., Opus Technology Ltd, Stock Bangladesh Limited, BG Interactive Limited and HN Telecom Ltd. |  |

আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান বিভাগ, অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়, গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকার কর্তৃক ১২ নভেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখে জারীকৃত প্রজ্ঞাপনের প্রেক্ষিতে জনাব মোঃ আল আমিন তালুকদার ১৩ নভেম্বর ২০২৫ তারিখে আইসিবি অ্যাসেট ম্যানেজমেন্ট পিএলসি (আইএএমপিএলসি)- এর প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা পদে যোগদান করেন। তিনি ১৯৯৫ সালে ইনভেস্টমেন্ট কর্পোরেশন অব বাংলাদেশ (আইসিবি)- এ সিনিয়র অফিসার হিসেবে যোগদান করেন। গত ৩০ বছরে তিনি ল’ ডিপার্টমেন্ট, ডকুমেন্টেশন ডিপার্টমেন্ট, সেক্রেটারিজ ডিপার্টমেন্ট, ইমপ্লিমেন্টেশন এন্ড রিকভারি ডিভিশন, সাবসিডিয়ারি অ্যাফেয়ার্স ডিভিশন, ইইএফ উইং, শাখা কার্যালয়সহ আইসিবি’র বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ক্ষেত্রে অত্যন্ত দক্ষতার সাথে কাজ করেছেন। ২৫ জুন ২০২৩ তারিখে তিনি মহাব্যবস্থাপক পদে পদোন্নতি লাভ করেন। তিনি আইসিবি’র চিফ এন্টি মানিলন্ডারিং কমপ্লাইন্স অফিসার এবং আইসিবি ক্যাপিটাল ম্যানেজমেন্ট লিমিটেড এর অতিরিক্ত প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। এছাড়া, তিনি আইসিবি ক্যাপিটাল ম্যানেজমেন্ট লিমিটেড, গোল্ডেন সন লিমিটেড এবং সিভিসি ফাইন্যান্স পিএলসি এর পরিচালনা পর্ষদে পরিচালকের দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। জনাব মোঃ আল আমিন তালুকদার রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আইন বিভাগ হতে এলএল.বি (সম্মান) ও এলএল.এম ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন। তিনি মুদ্রাবাজার ও মূলধন বাজারসহ নানাবিধ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়ে প্রশিক্ষণ, সেমিনার এবং কর্মশালায় অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন। |  |
